Valerie Bertinelli
Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 23rd, 1960)[2] is an American actor. At the age of teen the actress became famous for her role as Barbara Cooper Royer, a character she played on the television comedy One Day at a Time. She won two Golden Globe Awards in this role for Best Actress for a Television Film, Miniseries and Series. Following that she was a major star as an adult in the sitcom Touched by an Angel 2001-2003 and Melanie Moretti in the sitcom Hot in Cleveland 2010-2015. In the latter, she was awarded an award from the Screen Actors Guild Award. The actress was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2012.
Bertinelli has hosted several programs for Food Network, such as the cooking shows Valerie's Home Cooking (2015-2023) and Kids Baking Championship (2015-present) which won two Daytime Emmy Awards for the earlier show, out of six nominations. The show premiered in December of 2021. Bertinelli signed a new deal to Food Network.Bertinelli was a wife to guitarist Eddie Van Halen from 1981 to 2007, with whom she has one child, Wolfgang. Tom Vitale was her husband between 2011 and 2020.
